The Price

One man's disobedience hurt many

no redemption was left to save any

and thus the penalty was served to many

and so they all began to wade

and many began to die

death made them daily cry

for there was no one to wipe them dry

mercy fell from the sky

offering hope to climb high

the price precious and high

no brother could pay

only the rightful

who's considered faithful

paid the price in full

and all became hopeful

the price paid opened a way

a way to make all happy

to make all calm

to make all warm

to make all whole.
