Feminism. A Blessing or A Curse?!

In ancient days,

she was less valued

despite the hard work she put

to keep fortifying her family's foundation.

The property was her daily norm

of identity, especially on marriage grounds.

She had to deal with intense emotional,

physical and mental torture.

New dawn sparked,

and a wave of feminism was born.

Establishing better standards

and a new identity for her

has been their calling.

Teaching a new version of her,

and changing the negative views about her,

remains to be their musical hymn.

Since the dawn of feminism

her identity changed

to an improved reference.

She can choose to be independent,

demand respect from the society,

get a listening ear,

and even become a leader.
